MindEdge Launches Emotional Intelligence for Project Managers Course

How project managers can use their emotional intelligence to deal with team members, vendors, stakeholders, and sponsors and to handle and resolve conflicts is the focus of MindEdge's latest self-paced online course.

Emotional Intelligence for Project Managers reviews the underlying concepts of emotional intelligence—our ability to identify and control our emotions to achieve positive outcomes in our relationships—and explores how project managers can improve, and make use, of their emotional intelligence.

The course reviews nine key emotional intelligence (EI) factors and their importance in effective management.

Learners are given an opportunity to apply these EI factors to real world project scenarios through nine mini-cases. For each mini-case, video commentary by an experienced project management professional discusses best practices.

Emotional Intelligence for Project Managers is recommended for anyone leading or managing projects. It is offered on MindEdge Online and through selected training partners.

Learners who successfully complete the course can earn three (3) Professional Development Units (PDUs) recognized by the Project Management Institute.
