The Leader's Edge™ Online Program Launched

Prompted by the strong positive response to The Manager's Edge™, MindEdge has launched The Leader's Edge™, an online training tool for the development of leadership skills through scenario-based learning. The program serves leaders in corporate, nonprofit, and governmental organizations.

The Leader's Edge™ engages learners through a number of online scenarios, allowing them to evaluate each situation and then choose between competing responses, or to craft their own. Each decision point includes feedback on each specific scenario choice by leadership experts, including video commentary; a review of leadership best practices; and a scorecard reviewing the impact of the learner's choices.

Organizations can select those scenarios deemed most pertinent for its leadership challenges.

Examples of the scenarios in The Leader's Edge™ include:

  • Leading an unpopular change effort
  • Dealing with a sudden crisis
  • Setting a leadership example when sacrifices must be made
  • Balancing the input of others in decision-making
  • Handling conflict with peers
  • Persuading senior managers

The Leader's Edge™ can be delivered in two ways: traditional learning mode where learners accesses the scenarios in a sequential manner or push learning mode where learners receive an e-mail directing them to individual case studies on a schedule determined by the company's HR or learning department.
