The Council ensures the accuracy, comprehensiveness, and relevance of MindEdge's digital marketing courses, certifications, and processes.


Abby Fichtner. The founder and Chief Ninja at Digital Muse, Abby helps artists and entrepreneurs "show off their awesome" and get the recognition and customers they deserve. She has been named one of the Top Woman in Boston Tech, an Innovation Amplifier by the Boston Globe, a Shaper of Boston's Tech Community by Mashable, and Boston's Startup Guardian Angel. She is a graduate of George Mason University and has a master's in software engineering from the University of Maryland.

William Bullard. William has been practicing online marketing since 1996, when he co-developed a B2C website for a division of TESSCO, a fast-growing wireless company in Baltimore. In 1998, he managed the development, launch, and adoption of what became the flagship channel for the company's core B-to-B business. William moved into education marketing in 2012, and has been the director of Communications at two Boston-area schools. The VP of Internet Marketing for AMA Boston, William manages web content, supports events and new programs, and created the new Blogger of the Quarter program.

Paul Weiss. A vice president of Marketing Analytics & CRM Strategy at Epsilon, Paul is a CRM thought leader with a successful track record of building and leading strategic consulting services teams in marketing analytics, marketing strategy, customer loyalty, database marketing and consumer research. He ran marketing analytics and consumer research for the Marshalls retail organization before moving into consultative client services leadership roles at several highly regarded marketing services firms including Epsilon, Equifax, BeNOW and Harte Hanks. His cross-vertical industry expertise includes travel, hospitality, entertainment, retail, CPG and subscription based services. His digital analytics work focuses on helping clients develop an effective digital marketing strategy using technology, data, measurement and insights to acquire and retain profitable customers.

Lauren Metter. The founder and President of Metter Media, Lauren started the company in 2013 because she wanted to help local businesses tell their stories online. A Boston-based social media company, Metter Media implements community-based, localized social engagement strategies for small businesses and corporations alike. Metter currently runs the social media for 50+ businesses, including Microsoft, Cradles to Crayons, Eastern Insurance, and more. Lauren graduated from Boston University in 2011 as Summa Cum Laude with a degree in English Literature.

Heshi Piyathilake. The head of the Insurance Division at Metter Media, Heshi runs multiple social media channels for seven different independent insurance agencies across Massachusetts while also focusing on finding new clients. Heshi has a background in healthcare and education but has been working in the field on online marketing for the last two years. She graduated from Boston University in 2012 as a Sigma Alpha Lambda Scholar with a degree in English Literature and Psychology.
